One’s good fortune should be shared with others.
At Cardon Development Group, success has afforded us the rare privilege to enrich the lives of others. It is our mission to give back, not through a sense of obligation, but through a profound sense of gratitude.
Few companies the size of Cardon Development Group do as much for their community and for its various non-profits. In 2016 alone, hundreds of thousands of dollars was donated or provided as in-kind services to various organizations, agencies and special events. Among the many beneficiaries of the company’s philanthropy were:
Cardon Center at Grand Canyon University
Inspired by Kim and Don Cardon, Cardon Development Group and GCU partnered to create the L.O.P.E.S. (Learning Opportunities for Participation and Engagement in School) Academy at the Cardon Center. This two-year program will help individuals find their personal purpose through academic, social and job skills development for successful, independent living.
Each course in the L.O.P.E.S. Academy program is seven weeks, with participants taking two courses per 15-week semester (fall and spring). Each class meets twice a week for one hour. Participants will also gain the GCU college experience outside the classroom by diving deeper into social activities based on their individual interests and skills, including Chapel events, clubs, guest speakers and workshops, sporting events or just grabbing lunch with friends.
Family Crisis Shelter of Williston, North Dakota
As a title sponsor of Summer Nights 2018 for the third year running, Don Cardon and the CDG staff presented a $25,000 donation to the Family Crisis Shelter Program during the July event.
Cardon Global was thrilled to be a sponsor of Williston’s Summer Nights on Main. At the event on 8-17-17, Cardon Global proudly presented a $25,000 donation to the Opportunity Foundation – a non-profit corporation created to support people who are developmentally disabled.
