Bob Gregory is a Senior Project Manager at Cardon Development Group, a fully integrated commercial, multi-family housing and retail development group founded by Don Cardon in 2002. Prior to joining CDG, Bob served as the City Manager for the city of Longview, WA, where he oversaw all the development and administration of various policies and projects.

Bob Gregory has 35 years in City and County local governments serving in positions as City Manager, Assistant City Manager, Director of Public Works, and Civil Engineer. He has a diverse background in all disciplines of municipal government including public works, finance, information technology, public safety, parks and recreation, library, fleet operations, transit, and airport services. He has led significant policy and strategic initiatives throughout his career with a keen sensitivity to communication, robust community and stakeholder involvement, and a strong commitment to accountability for managing public resources to meet the expectations the organizations and communities he served.

Bob has extensive experience in public and private collaboration to create economic opportunity. He has served as Chairman of the Cowlitz Economic Development Council, including 10 years on the Executive Board of the organization, leading public and private interests in job creation and private investment in residential, commercial, and industrial projects in Cowlitz County and the Cities of Longview and Kelso. This development experience included the planning and development of key regional infrastructure initiatives, policy development that encouraged development in the region, and creation of an environment of an entrepreneurial public organization that fostered a collaborative approach for attracting economic opportunity.

Bob has a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology (1979) and is a registered engineer in Washington State. In 2015, Bob started a consulting services firm providing owner representative services for planning, project management, and government affairs. He has assisted developers and private property owners with managing master planning, entitlements, economic feasibility studies, and marketing strategies for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Bob and his wife, Janey, reside in Longview, WA and have two daughters and five grandchildren. They love to travel, especially to their cabin at Lake Mayfield, WA, and are actively involved in the Longview community serving on the Longview Public Development Authority and Cowlitz County Public Facilities District Board of Directors.
